Pachamama Yoga Retreat
Welcome to the Andes Mountains of Antioquia, Colombia
This week-long retreat is a balanced mix of yoga, meditation, self-reflection, cultural immersion, and connection with nature. Take this opportunity to relax, recharge, and indulge your senses in a true Colombian mountainside experience that incorporates the unity of yoga asanas, self-reflection, and body and mind nourishment from pachamama herself. Here in the Andes Mountains, the responsibilities of your daily life will take a backseat as you spend the week immersed in self-study and gratitude. Take advantage of this adventure to honor your virtues, grow your yoga practice, and appreciate the backdrop of the mountain range, slowing the pace down for a week and communicating with your divine Self.

Colombia’s motto, “the only risk is that you’ll want to stay,” is an accurate description that you’ll experience first-hand as you immerse yourself in the country’s mountains, interact with local villagers, and try new and exotic fruits and meals prepared for you fresh each day. Colombia is still an unexplored treasure that you will have the opportunity to discover, stepping away from the McDonald’s and Starbucks, and stepping into the coffee and sugar cane plantations right in your backyard. The country’s government recently signed a peace agreement in 2016, but has experienced peace, society building, artistic expression and new forms of education for years now that have left the country more peaceful and safer than ever. As the host and your retreat planner, I also have extensive experience working in Colombia researching their peacebuilding and historic memory construction, and I am happy to answer any questions that may arise about its history.
